Check Nike FuelBand Data On Android With This App

Check Nike FuelBand Data On Android With This App

Nike’s FuelBand gadget / accessory may have hit the market alongside a plethora of great smartphone apps offering great options to the health fitness conscious, but the nice-looking wristband has already won legions of fans impressed by its beauty and effortless functionality. If you happen to be a Nike+ FuelBand user and have been on the look for a way to check your progress on an Android, look no further than Fuelly, a nicely designed app worthy of such a top-notch product.
If you haven’t used FuelBand before, you might have been surprised by just how much of a success it has been in the marketplace. But I can assure you that once you give it a try, it’s unlikely you’ll look back, for in keeping a log of your daily movements, can help motivate you from a near vegetative state into a walking, talking fitness freak.
Fuelly
There’s no official Nike+ FuelBand app for Android and is exclusively available for iPhone users, but Fuelly by developer alx5962 is one of the cleanest and easy-to-use offerings we’ve come across. Found over at the Google Play Store for those on Android, Fuelly will keep an automatic log of your last two weeks’ data, meaning you can check your progress at a glance directly from your smartphone or tablet device.

Once you’ve hooked up your Nike+ Connect credentials with Fuelly, the app immediately gets to work, and you can use it to track your general activity throughout the day. As you would expect, you can check how many calories you’ve burned, steps you’ve taken, and how far you’ve gone, making it very easy to keep up with and make progress upon your goals and achievements.
But, there’s one catch; it will not sync with your Android device using Bluetooth, you must sync it with your PC or Mac using Nike+ Connect, as we mentioned earlier in this post.

If you haven’t yet tried the FuelBand, I highly recommend you give it a go. When it first arrived, I did think it was a bit of a gimmick, and whilst, to a degree, this may be true, if nothing else, it’s an inexpensive way to help you become more active, which can only be a good thing.

Moto X 2nd gen to launch without simultaneous voice and data requires future Advanced Calling 1 0 update

Moto X 2nd gen to launch without simultaneous voice and data requires future Advanced Calling 1 0 update

Verizon Moto X 2014 DSC07000
Being an Android smartphone user on Verizon means you’re used to some of the finer things in life such as great coverage, getting nickeled and dimed for everything imaginable, and being able to use both voice and data at the same time. Simultaneous voice and data has been available on most Android phones by coming equipped with two separate radios and maintaining separate connections to the 1x and EVDO or LTE networks. Verizon’s upcoming Moto X (2nd gen), set to launch on September 26th, will handle simultaneous voice and data quite differently from previous Android phones.
Verizon’s new Moto X will be the first Android device that requires Verizon’s Advanced Calling 1.0 to enable simultaneous voice and data connections. Oddly enough, the Moto X is not launching with Advanced Calling 1.0 support and will require a software update that’s slated for later this fall. The new Moto X isn’t being singled out here, this change and requirement will be coming to future Verizon phones as well.
Moto_X_Verizon_Calling_Data_VoLTE_Leak
Verizon’s Advanced Calling 1.0 enables VoLTE (Voice over LTE), think VoIP for cellular networks. This means if you make a phone call while on Verizon’s LTE network, your phone will no longer use the CDMA connection to place the call. Your call will go out over the LTE data connection instead. Thanks to the bandwidth available on LTE networks, your phone has a large enough data connection for all of your voice and data needs. Besides simultaneous voice and data, Advanced Calling 1.0 also adds high definition voice calls, 1-way or 2-way video calls, and 6-way conference calls. Of course these features are only available if you’re in Verizon’s LTE coverage area and are using a Verizon VoLTE-enabled smartphone.
While this might be a bit disheartening if you’re an avid user of simultaneous voice and data due to a pending future update that enables this functionality, Verizon is headed in the right direction. This is all part of their grand scheme to do away with their aging CDMA network. This is the first step towards the future.

Cheapest Data Plans For Android iOS PC and Blackberry Users in April

Cheapest Data Plans For Android iOS PC and Blackberry Users in April

Cheapest Data Plans For Android, iOS, PC and Blackberry Users in April

A lot of things have changed in the last 30 days, some are deadly blows; while to others they are hopeful blows. Some plans have been stopped; some capped, while new ones are been introduced. As a smartphone user, there is a particular plan that suits you. On this note, I’ll begin with those who download a lot.

Heavy User Data Plans.
This plan works best for you:
MTN daily unlimited Plan: When it is unlimited, we don’t keep quiet because it’s going to solve a lot of online downloading problem. I’ve used this plan before and I can tell you that it’s not capped. For the first 6 hours of my use, I downloaded 8GB, the rest is history.

To get this plan, load your MTN line with N150 and dial *567*59#. It works on all smartphones, PC and iOS.

Airtel Unlimited Night Plan: Airtel network is strong in most locations and strongest in the night hour. This plan is unlimited at night; no speed throttling, and it is download as you want.

How To Subscribe To The Airtel Night Plan:
=> For 1hour plan, dial *481*1# and it cost N100
=> For 3hours plan, dial *481*2# and it cost N300
=> For 6hour plan, dial *481*3# and it cost N500.

NB: This data plan works on all devices, be it Java phones, Symbian, Android, iPad, iPad, PC.

Simple User Data Plans
It’s no longer news that a lot of us are unable to reactivate MTN BBLited because of the recent MTN server upgrade. It’s been capped to mere 10MB no matter how you tweak it. The only people still using MTN BBLited on Android are those who already subscribed before MTN capped the plan. However, there is an alternative which is sim selective. MTN Maxi Plan… see guide here

MTN Music Plus: The current best alternative to MTN BIS on Android is MTN Music Plus. You can use it on PC, iOS and Android devices. Although, some users are reporting that MTN charges N75 and not N15 for this offer while some successfully activated it for N15. The plan you are determine how much you’ll be charge. You can see more guide on how to activate MTN Music Plus for N15 here.

Glo BIS: Glo Blackberry plan has been reduced to 2GB For N1,000; 3GB For N1,400 and N1,500 respectively. I tried the N1,400 and it zaps data a lot while the N1,500 plan doesn’t zap at all.
To Subscribe for any of this plan;
Dial *777*21# For 2GB For N1,000
Dial *777*23# For N1,500 or dial *777# and follow the prompt respectively. It works on BB10 and Android whose IMEI has been tweaked.

For those using Samsung, HTC, iTel and other Qualcomm devices, you need Glo universal data plan. Dial *777# and follow the prompt. You can get 1.5GB +Free N2,000 credit with just N1,000 glo data subscription.

Glo 6GB For N1,300: those of us who used this plan before must surely have a testimony to share; the bad news is that it’s not currently available but will be available soon.

Airtel: The major concern I’ve with Airtel Network is the Auto zapping data which I considered as callous and fraudulent. Aside of this, Airtel network is super-fast in most location.
For Airtel lovers with good network connection, you can get Airtel N1,500 for 3GB. Dial *440*16#. It works on all devices.

Airtel 4GB For N1,500: This plan works on all devices… see how you can activate it here.

Ordinary User Data Plans
This one is for those who don’t consume much on their devices, they merely download, just to surf the net, read news and socialize and turn off their data. We have a plan that equally suits you.

Glo N1,000 for 1.5GB: Dial *777# and follow the prompt. No strange settings required.
Etisalat N1,000 for 1GB: Dial *229*2*7#. No strange settings required.
MTN 1GB for N1,100. Just comment and I’ll recommend a reliable third party data reseller to you.
Airtel N100 for 1GB: This is a weekend plan and it can be activated twice every weekend. Some of you are not eligible; but to be eligible, you only need to keep your line active. Dial *474*1#

Are you still confuse on what data plan to use? Ask your question…
