How to Install CM11 Nightly LG G3 - European users of the LG G3 began receiving the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop recently, but for those of us in other parts still have to wait. Unless we decide to try some of the excellent custom ROMs that this device has available, including of course one of the most interesting it is to CyanogenMod. This is a ROM based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat AOSP, meaning that for now does not give us the same as Lollipop but has some of its features, and developers are already working on CM12, based on Android 5.0 .

Before you begin, as always we emphasize when performing these procedures, that it will be advisable to make a backup of all our critical data, or if we prefer a Nandroid back to our computer to the current situation if something we do not like. Also, before something like this it is necessary to charge the battery up to 60% or more, and finally we will need USB debugging enabled (that we do in development options).

Now if we can start:

1. CM11 Nightly downloaded from this link and do the same with the gapps package from this other link.
2. We connect the LG G3 to our PC via USB cable and copy both files to the internal storage.
3. Disconnect the phone cable and turn it off.
4. We waited a few seconds and turn it on in recovery mode.
5. We wipe data, cache and Dalvik.
6. We return to the initial screen of the recovery and select install zip from sdcard "and then" choose zip from sdcard. We choose the ROM file and confirm using the Power button.
7. We wait a few seconds and repeat the process for archiving the gapps.
8. We return to the initial screen of the recovery and select reboot now.
