    Galaxy y is the awesome budget android mobile. While releasing this model its get huge response from the people. but the Samsung officially released on android version 2.3.6 gingerbread. Thats why people want to custom ROM for upgrading the android version.

   I have persony suggest the following two roms gor  galaaxy y. i have tested the both rom in my mobile. its work awesome in my mobile without any bugs.

Going to upadte ur rom first to you have to know and do the following things

    1.Root your mobile
    2.Install clock recovery mode in your mobile

Best Rom I Suggest are.

1. Jelly blast

  Its a awesome rom working perfectly in galaxy y. This rom gives you upgrad your android version into JellyBean. It gives Better battery backup by the use of Kurubo kernal. and also you can customize our themes.

2. Hyperion rom

 This is one of the best ROM ever used in galaxy y. It based on ginger bread android version only . nut gives some extra feature like 15 Toggles notification area. better battery back up. better performance. enhance audio quality. Hyperion 8 version is better. even Hyperion 9 is released but it has some network bugs(Emergency calls Only).

* Root the Tecno Boom J8 using root tecno j8
* Unzip the recovery.img from the above zip file after downloading and save it to the phones SD card
* Flash the recovery.img using rashr.apk  download it here
