How to hard reset on LG G4 - I recently saw how root the LG G4, a first step towards full independence to use our device as we are pleases, installing custom ROMs, making overclocking and removing all the bloatware that unfortunately always reach our hands. But an advanced user needs to know all the procedures may do to your smartphone or tablet, and here we want to show them all.
So lets see how to perform a hard reset on LG G4, which will allow us to delete all personal information that we have entered the fundamental step for example if we want to sell. And thankfully its quite simple as we shall see below, not to ignore the fact that something is officially supported on any Android device.
For this we have two possibilities, one by Android and other hardware by phone.
Procedure Android
- We tap on the menu button and select Settings.
- Let Backup and Restore and we tap on Factory Data Reset.
- We tap Restart the phone and then select Clear All.
- Alert us that by doing this we eliminate everything that is in our device, we agree to it and let the process begin.
By hardware
- Turn off the phone, wait a few seconds in that state.
- Simultaneously pressed keys and the Volume On the hold.
- When the LG logo appears let go of the Power but continue pressing the volume.
- We press the Power key again, and then let go of both keys when the hard reset screen appears.
- We press the Power key to confirm, and start the process.
