Is It Worth Rooting Android Smartphone If Not Changing ROM
Many times we read that the best thing about being rooted in Android is ability to change the ROM to some more optimized one such as Cyanogen or MIUI. It is true that one of the main attractions of root is to change the ROM, but Is It Worth Rooting Android without Changing ROM?
The answer, from my point of view- Yes, certainly. To explain, I will detail some of the things you can do in Rooted Android Smartphone, none of dealing with change of the ROM.
How to Root Android?
To begin with, it’s never noobish to ask How to My Root Android Device. Well, it Much depends on the device, but ultimately the best method, if the terminal is supported, is to use zergRush Exploit Toolkit or Unlockroot.

With this application we can do three things very interesting: first, uninstall System applications that are standard in our Android. As we know this frees space /system, so all we got with this is to stop bothering those applications that we never use. For example, I use Tweetdeck and uninstalled applications Twitter and Facebook officials because they were redundant.
The other thing we can do with System Cleanup is move System applications from /data back to /system. For example, if we have updated Google Maps, this application will occupy space on /system (the original application) and /data (updates). We can move the updated to /system and free up space in /data. Many times you have to restart the phone to get things working properly after a few applications to move back to /system.
The third thing we can do with System Cleanup is to remove the unused portions of the Dalvik cache, a temporary space used by the Java virtual machine to run Android applications. Over time the space occupied is rising, and is not recovered. Many people say that the best way to eliminate the lag is to do a wipe from time to time, but do not get that far. Clearing the cache occasionally is enough.
Titanium Backup: To Backup Applications, Data and Restore
Titanium Backup allows us to make backups of our applications and data. Although, there are other alternatives- Titanium Backup is unique in its kind. Also, the application is free and allows the backup on Dropbox or other tasks such as moving applications to the SD. Personally, I think an essential application for any user of Android.
Also, this is the first step to change ROM , but even if we do not want to change ROM is very helpful. For example, we have our copy of all applications and data and if we lose the phone or if it breaks, recover everything as it was in a new terminal. If you have a Samsung, you do not have this problem, but Android in general need to be root to take screenshots (upto Ice Cream Sandwich). Root is required to install application which can take screenshots.

Conclusions
Being root can do interesting things on Android, not just changing the ROM. That is why, I think it’s worth doing just to do the things I mentioned before. And it is the essential step if we want to make the leap to a new ROM. We will have full control of the terminal and that is always appreciated.
